Gorilla is an Indica-dominant hybrid (60%) derived from the cross of Chocolate Diesel, Chem Sister, and Sour Dubb. The cross is said to have happened quite fortuitously when a Sour Dubb female was accidentally pollinated by a male Chem Sister. She has a medium to large structure with mid-sized internodes and light-green leaves. Despite her appearance, her Indica essence becomes evident as soon as she is consumed.
Gorilla is a heavy yielder, known for her high resin count, producing large, sticky trichomes—hence the name Gorilla Glue. She produces dense, heavy, and smelly buds covered in a striking white color when fully ripe. The resulting crop has excellent bag appeal, with tight, light-green nuggets dusted with shiny trichomes.
Gorilla showcases complex and intense flavors and aromas. She has a strong fuel-like aroma with pungent earthy notes, similar to a Sour Diesel but with more intense sour nuances. This strain is also famous for producing a high number of terpenes, mostly caryophyllene and humulene.
Gorilla delivers a super-potent high due to her THC levels of up to 20%. With almost no cannabidiol (CBD), she is suitable for those accustomed to strong cannabis. Her effects are largely Indica-dominant, often described as devastating, much like the smack of a huge gorilla.
Gorilla is not a demanding plant to grow, but some basic knowledge is required. She should not be overfed, so a standard diet is preferred. She is not especially resistant to moisture or lack of water, so moderate and regular irrigation is recommended. Pruning, especially of lower leaves and branches, helps the upper part thrive with enough strength and energy.
