Overview

C4 Automatic is a 60% indica-dominant hybrid developed for the Sensi Seeds Breeding Grounds project in collaboration with Serge Cannabis. This strain is a cross between the original C4, a blend of Triangle Kush and Strawnana, and Sensi Seeds’ Ruderalis Indica, the first autoflowering strain created by Nevil Schoenmakers in the 1980s. C4 Automatic is one of the most compact strains available, making it ideal for growers of all experience levels due to its ease of cultivation and high yield potential.

Growth Pattern

C4 Automatic cannabis seeds grow into remarkably small and compact plants with a thick, robust main stem and a short, bushy frame. The plants have sturdy lateral branches growing from tight internodal spacing. Growers can expect a single main cola occupying the upper half of the plant, with the lower half being a dense tangle of short and thick branches, each supporting a secondary cola. Indoors, these plants typically reach a height of 25-80 cm, with yields of 250-325 grams per square metre over a 60 to 65-day flowering period. Outdoors, they grow to 35-100 cm in height and produce 150-250 grams per plant. The buds are chunky, round, golfball-sized nuggets that are dense and sticky with a thick coating of pale orange pistils and heavy trichome coverage.

Flavors, Aromas, and Effects

As C4 Automatic begins to flower, it emits a rich mix of strawberry fruit smoothie and tropical banana sweetness from the Strawnana parent, with the Triangle Kush lineage adding notes of warm Kush. The aroma is noticeable but not overwhelming, making it a great choice for privacy-conscious growers. After curing, the dried buds have a rich, fruity aroma with highlights of sweet strawberry purée, creamy banana, fresh berry, and hints of gassy Kush, along with light, earthy, doughy undertones. The flavor is dominated by the creamy taste of a strawberry milkshake and tropical bananas, with a mid-palate of warm, earthy Kush, and a gassy, creamy exhale with a mild, lingering aftertaste. The effects are happy, calm, and euphoric, perfectly balancing head and body effects. The high is cerebral, introspective, and relaxing, without locking you to the couch, making it a perfect fit for any time of day.

Ruderalis Indica is a blend of Northern Lights #5 with a wild plant found in Hungary by Nevil Schoenmakers in the 1980s and is regarded as one of the very first autoflowering strains.
