Shiva Shanti® Regular is an 85% indica, 15% sativa strain known for its sizeable yields and short flowering time. The plants typically grow to average heights indoors, but can reach greater heights outdoors. Users experience a relaxed, contented high, with a powerful, calming body-stone due to its indica dominance.
Shiva Shanti Regular produces large buds with a distinctive sweet, sour scent and a skunky flavour. Some phenotypes feature a garlicky aroma. After curing, the skunky tang remains evident in the taste, while the initial scent becomes less noticeable.
This strain has a relatively short flowering time of 50 to 55 days, making it ideal for growers looking to reach the harvest stage quickly. Indoors, plants typically grow to 100 to 160 cm, while outdoors they can reach 190 to 220 cm. Structurally, the plants are bushy with dark, narrow leaves and a thick central stem. Buds are usually large, dense, and compact, often forming around the central stem.
Shiva Shanti Regular thrives in warm, sunny climates such as the Mediterranean. Indoors, it yields about 500 grams per square metre, and outdoors, around 500 grams per plant. It is well-suited for growers with low ceilings or greenhouse roofs due to its average height. Supercropping and lollipopping are effective training techniques that can enhance yields.

Shiva Shanti Regular was developed in the 1990s to celebrate the formation of the Sensi Seed Bank. It was bred from an Afghani plant known as Garlic Bud and a classic Kush variety. The name honors Sensi Seeds’ founder Ben Dronkers’ twin daughters and is also inspired by the Hindu god associated with cannabis.
