Understanding VPD

Vapor Pressure Deficit (VPD) is the difference between the amount of moisture in the air and how much moisture the air can hold when it is saturated.

Optimal Ranges

  • Seedling: 65-70┬░F (18-21┬░C), 65-75% humidity
  • Vegetative: 70-78┬░F (21-26┬░C), 40-60% humidity
  • Flowering: 65-75┬░F (18-24┬░C), 40-50% humidity

Tools You Need

A good thermometer-hygrometer combo and possibly a dehumidifier or humidifier depending on your climate.
